Mltio School of Business Forms North American Supply Chain Resilience Consortium

The School of Business at Mltio University has established the North American Supply Chain Resilience Consortium in partnership with thirty major enterprise logistics carriers.

Led by Associate Professor David Lindqvist, the initiative uses discrete-event simulation and predictive geospatial analytics to model highway and freight rail bottlenecks during severe winter conditions. The consortium will provide municipal and private logistics planners with real-time diversion tools.

"Recent extreme weather patterns highlight the vulnerability of just-in-time logistics," Lindqvist stated. "Our models help supply chain managers secure essential medicine and food supplies before logistical disruptions cascade across the continent."
