Denials, scheduling, and front-desk flow—not a coding licence and not RN.
Online or on campus

Revenue cycle is where clinics bleed time. This MSc treats registration, prior auth, denials, and scheduling as one operations system, not as a coding-school syllabus. You will map a claim’s failure modes, cost a no-show policy, and keep clinical boundaries visible so graduates do not market themselves as licensed billers or nurses. Twin Cities medical groups and Greater Minnesota clinics are the case environment. Dual-pathway students state primary mode. English-medium waiver includes U.S. regionally accredited bachelor's. Identity-checked exams apply whether you study from a billing office or a Minneapolis classroom; a campus guest speaker does not replace the exam. You will map registration, prior auth, denials, and scheduling as one system. Faculty will fail capstones that teach proprietary payer ‘cheats’ or that market the graduate as a licensed coder or nurse. Weather, no-shows, and interpreter capacity are operations constraints. Public pages repeat: not CPC, not CCS, not RN. HLC and DEAC are not health-information credentialing bodies. The award is academic administration. It is not AAPC/AHIMA certification, not a licence to code, not clinical practice. Assessment avoids teaching proprietary payer ‘cheats’ and stays on process, ethics, and management literacy.
Thirty-six credits: ambulatory operations, revenue-cycle process (non-licence), analytics literacy, and a clinic operations capstone. Three-credit courses. Identity-checked assessment.
